FAQs

What do you usually do for work?

All of it! I am a professional dance instructor and travel on some weekends to teach dance classes. I freelance Graphic Design or illustrate throughout the year with multiple projects ranging from tech to dance. My day job is usually either UI UX Design of Graphic Design in startup spaces depending on the company. I am versatile and always happy to adapt.

What are your rates for freelance work?

My rates vary depending on the organization asking. I believe in making things accessible for those less privileged and community focused so I tend to lower my rates for non-profits or provide a sliding scale. However, if it’s a company I will charge a base hourly rate.

Can I hire you for a dance gig?

Yes! I am open to taking dance opportunities as well. Please send an email with all the information you can provide about the opportunity and I will be sure to get in contact with you.

What was your career before all of this?

I worked in the medical field, mainly in physical therapy. I was going to school to become a Physical Therapist but eventually transitioned into design.

Are you currently employed?

Yes and no! I am employed at a dance school and I consistently do freelance work but I am not currently employed full time due to tech layoffs.

Would you be interested in another career change?

Yes! I’m always open to learning new skills and pushing myself. If an opportunity is presented to me, I will most likely take it with the expectation of working hard to achieve my goals.
