Problem
Museum goers look for information on pieces and artists in different ways. Some feel the only way to get information is through research before visiting their museum, or during group tours. However, not all museums goers enjoy the pace of group tours. This led to frustration due to missed opportunities for museum goers to get the information they wanted or frustration with long articles.
Solution
I wanted to solve this problem by creating a mobile site for participating museums that provides a quick and user-friendly platform for museums goers to discover and learned about art exhibits. The mobile site would streamline the in person viewing process and prioritize relevant information to enhance the user experience. This solution aimed to improve the overall viewing process and enjoyment for museum goers.

With the information gathered, I created a persona to get a better idea of the users I we are designing for. This is what really allowed me to see what specific needs, goals, pain points, and motivations users have when it comes to attending art galleries that fit their specific needs.
Sketches
Leveraging user flows and a site map to optimize website navigation, I started the process with tailored sketches designed to simplify the experience for museum goers seeking information during their visit. This approach proved effective in evaluating the application's functionality and overall smoothness. Employing a three-step process involving Crazy 8 (eight minutes for eight designs), dot analysis, and final sketches, the ultimate goal is to empower users with greater control and information, ensuring a valuable and efficient experience with the application.

Usability Testing
I developed a high-fidelity prototype and conducted one round of usability testing with 5 participants. Identified challenges in question flow and navigation led to refinements for clarity and a streamlined experience. The optimized flow resulted in smoother navigation, positive UI feedback, and enjoyment of a simplified experience. Small adjustments to thread options contributed to successful outcomes without confusion, with participants appreciating the application's layout ,aesthetics, and easy use.
